For our MV, we received comments from teacher and students during the rough cut screening:
These are the responses we got:

Overall, the colour and lighting received a medium score, and many people said they enjoyed the blue and yellow colour palette. This makes our work on this part easier, as before I was too worried about the tone and lighting. Even though that most part of the editing (transitions) looked fine for the audience, there are still some points that they do not understand.
Including:
The reason and cause of the blood scenes in the end
The indication of the goat
The connection of the axe with the story
The filter is too heavy that blocks out the content
The cut is too fast
We made several changes to our MV:
1.Colour and exposure

The colour at the beginning is neutralized, green part reduced and highlight area reduced.
This warm tone gives a higher contrast to the later one, while portraying a delightful mood that is fake yet sincere.

A motion blur is added to make this scene more dramatic, with a higher contrast. The blur works together with the desperate mood, making the audience dizzy and feel the pressure.
2.Sequence and order

For the start, we added a scene of blood print on a white wall, with letters showing a shortened version of 'Lemon'. This serves as the title of the MV, and a foreshadow for the dark scene in the latter part of the MV. We hope this can help the audience to understand the story with this increases in coherence.

We added a scene of Louis wielding an axe, before the cut of the large scale of 'bleeding'. This action code explains the possible reasons of where the blood comes from, but still remain some spaces for imagination and explanation. The colour tone of these shots are also separated to set the mood, varying from orange to green.

We added a short shot of Louis swinging an umbrella, this is inserted between the longest solo singing part of the MV. The intension is to make it interesting and not that plain.
This umbrella was originally planned for the line 'raining afternoon', but we located here to make some connections. 'Louis is prepared for the rain, but he did not go out, so instead he spend his time inside the factory and messing around.'
Final video
Beside some additions, we took out the glitches and fancy and unnecessary transitions, which made the whole video easier to understand.
